How do I get started with TapToTalk Designer? Are there any manuals?
When you log into TapToTalk Designer, just click on the "Help"link on the upper right hand corner of the page. That is where all the documentation and videos are located. Start with the "Read these First" section. The documentation can be printed.

I have published my albums for my iPhone/iPod touch/iPad or Android. However, only the Starter Album is showing.

  • You have not configured your device with a 10 digit TapToTalk ID and Password.
  • Check that your device is connected to the Internet via WiFi or 3G.
Please refer to the "TapToTalk iPhone and iPad App Guide" or the "TapToTalk for Android App Guide" in Designer Help for more information.

The TapToTalk App seems to be frozen on my iPad/iPod touch/iPhone. What is wrong?
When you configured your TapToTalk App, you probably enabled the Scanning feature unintentionally. Go to the TapToTalk Settings and make sure that both Scanning settings--"Enable" and "Enable External Switch"--are set to OFF.

I have published my albums, but the pictures are not talking or the sound is too low.
Be sure you actually recorded the sounds or saved the text-to-speech sounds. If you did, and you cannot hear the sounds:

  • Make sure your device in not on mute or vibrate mode.
  • Adjust your computer’s recording levels. Please refer to the "Recording Your Voice" guide in online Help for more information.
